Yu Mobiles, a Micromax subsidiary, on Thursday launched the Yu Yureka 2 smartphone in India. This is company’s second launch this year after Yu Black launched back in the month of June.
Yu Yureka 2 is a mid-range smartphone and will directly compete with the Redmi Note 4 smartphone due to the similarities in the two phones.
The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Yu Yureka 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with 5.5″ Full HD display, metal body & 2.5D glass. The smartphone has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB), 3930 mAH battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Yureka 2 has 16 MP auto-focus with dual-LED flash rear camera and 8MP front camera.
Yu Yureka 2 is powered by tried and tested most popular Octa Core Snapdragon 625 SoC. The same SoC has powered many smartphones including Moto G5 Plus, G5S Plus, Redmi Note 4, Mi A1, etc. Snapdragon 625 SoC has both power and efficiency.
As far as the price and availability are concerned, the Yureka 2 has been priced at INR 11,999 and will be available on Flipkart from September 20 (during the Big Billion Days Sale).
